The current iteration of the Helmdon Local History Group (HLHG) formed in 2023.
HLHG encourages interest in the local history of Helmdon and the immediate surrounding areas. The group researches local history and aims to make it available to all via the group's website, www.helmdonhistory.com.
HLHG also
organises talks and courses that will provide members and the general public with relevant information, knowledge or skills to pursue individual or group research.
The group is the custodian of
a local archive of documents (or photocopies of documents), illustrations and artefacts relating to the local history of Helmdon and the surrounding area and from time to time makes the archive available via a public exhibition.
