Diana Burfield wrote an intriguing article about a craftsman’s notebook which included drawings of wagons including a “double shaft wagon for Mr Fairbrother”.
However there is another Helmdon cart, this time one that belonged to the Gulliver family, who have farmed in Helmdon since 1903.
Rose Gulliver says that she doesn't know how old it was, and that the family sold it in the late 1960s.
