Wanted: Artist To Bring Village Mural To Life

Helmdon Acorns Pre-School is on the lookout for an artist to put the finishing touch to their new building in the village.

With the building due to open in January, there is little time to lose in the search for a volunteer artist to create a large mural for one of the internal walls.

Rachel Wheeler pre-school chairman said: 'We’d like to start with a painting of an oak tree and gradually over time all of the children who attend the setting (sic) will be responsible for adding the leaves by way of a handprint.’
