HOME-MADE PRODUCE A FEATURE OF NEW VILLAGE SHOP
Helmdon has a new village stores and butchery – and it is located in the village pub. After a considerable period of time without access to supplies, the store has been welcomed by villagers. It is situated in The Bell Inn and features a growing range of items such as bread, milk, meat and free range eggs. There is also a host of home-made produce from pies and cakes to Christmas cards and watercolours. The shop will be open seven days a week from 9am – 5pm from Monday to Saturday and 9am to 4pm on Sundays – although it can be accessed via the pub outside these hours.
