Children at Helmdon Acorns Pre-School are blossoming under the expert eye of a new leader.

    Sam Marshall, who trained at the Montessori St Nicholas School and has eight years’ experience in Montessori nurseries, has already been a big hit with children and parents since joining in November.

   Deputy pre-school leader Anne Som(m)erton said: “The children immediately warmed to Sam’s happy, gentle approach.”

  Children are encouraged to work independently and are allowed to make their own choices as part of the new style.  A registered charity, the Helmdon Acorns Pre-School is led by a parent committee and managed by qualified staff.  Morning sessions are held in Helmdon Reading Rooms on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
