TED AND JEAN BEARMAN
For over 20 years Ted and Jean Bearman and their family delivered Helmdon’s doorstep pintas, but now ill health has forced Ted into early retirement.
At a social evening held in the Reading Room the chairman of the Parish Council, Mr David Brookhouse, paid tribute to the first class service provided by the Bearmans. He later presented them with an engraved silver tray and a cheque. Mrs Beaman received a bouquet. Coffee was served and Ted donned his familiar smock. From all of us thank you Ted and Jean and family. You have provided service with a capital S, may you have a long and happy retirement.
