TOVE VALLEY BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP

A new church community has been set up in South Northamptonshire for the new Millennium.

The Towcester, Helmdon and Weston Baptist Churches have merged to form the new Tove Valley Baptist Fellowship

Church elder of the newly amalgamated churches, Eileen Mullin, said: “The joining of the three congregations will strengthen our already strong links with the community.  Being part of a much larger congregation will benefit the whole neighbourhood.”  The new corporate name Tove Valley Baptist Fellowship is taken from the Tove River which runs along the valley joining Helmdon with Towcester.

Eileen added that while there is concern for declining numbers  in number of church goers nationally, the trend was reversed in South Northants.
